V8 Utes has been an exciting motorsport around the globe.
A new category introduced to the Supercars Championship is the V8 SuperUte Series and RYCO 24•7 are proud to sponsor Team Triton and Craig Dontas.
Craig Dontas started competing in superkarts and production cars in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Fast forward to today and Dontas is very much part of the V8 SuperUtes fraternity, working tirelessly behind the scenes to generate commercial support for the Utes Series and scoring numerous race wins and podium finishes.
While the off-track business work keeps him occupied on most race weekends, Dontas still can’t resist the opportunity to slot behind the wheel when there’s an opportunity, and he finished on the podium in last year’s Bathurst round aboard a Mitsubishi Triton. “For me, returning to the hot seat is exciting, feels like old times really, so will be a lot of fun. The utes are fast, loud and lively”, said Dontas.
The V8 SuperUte Series consists of five rounds including Bathurst 1000.
