RYCO 24•7 x Team Triton guest driver Adam Marjoram had an unforgettable weekend taking home the Round 4 win at the Bend Motorsport Park, South Australia! It was a super successful event on track for both Adam and RYCO 24•7 race driver – Craig Dontas. Fair to say the team is on cloud nine after such a long-awaited victory!
The V8 SuperUtes Round 4 event was Adam’s day with securing pole position, a race win, a 4th, and a 2nd to bring home an overall win for the round. With the series “front runners striking troubles early on” meant Adam may have been “struck with a hint of luck” to finish in the position he did, however this is not to take away from a tremendous performance Adam showed on the day. Adam was the teams proclaimed, ‘super sub’ and along with a solid “effort from the team”, he was able to get the job done and came away with the win!
Mainstay RYCO 24•7 race driver Craig unfortunately, couldn’t compete this round, however, was still super proud of the effort and the result. Craig commented, “Adam and the team ran faultlessly and really proud to be able to deliver on track for RYCO. Our next stop is Bathurst, let’s hope we can carry the winning momentum there.”
In only his second race within the V8 SuperUte Series, Adam is thrilled to walk away with the Round 4 trophy, another key highlight to add to his racing career and can’t wait to get back out there and “do more”. Adam couldn’t thank Craig enough for “his coaching and guidance [efforts] across the weekend it made for a “solid result”.
After a weekend of highs, the team is now laser focused on the next challenge and are hoping they can “carry over the wining momentum” for the Bathurst 1000!
next stop…. Bathurst 1000!!
After a busy weekend, Craig now has a lot of work to do to prepare for their biggest racing event of the year… the Bathurst 1000. All eyes will be on the RYCO 24•7 x Team Triton Ute.
