RYCO 24•7 Team Triton certainly had a “bruising weekend” on the 21st and 22nd of May at Winton Motor Raceway, in Victoria!
Dontas continued, “when we were able to race, we were pretty good, narrowly missing the podium in Race 2 and charging from the back with a very second-hand RYCO 24•7 Team Triton in the final to finish 5th.
What’s more? Craig noted, “We always work on the law of averages so hoping the first 50% of the year we have had all the bad luck and damage so that the next 50% we get it done nice and easy”.
Off-track it was an awesome weekend for the Team Triton at Winton!
Saturday the sun was out, and we had a great crew attend from RYCO 24•7. Our Southern Sales Team – Stacey and Dean welcomed our guests from McCullochs Hydraulic Engineers. The guys loved the face-to-face and in-depth interaction with the RYCO 24•7 Team Triton Ute.
The new Triton promotional Ute did the trick on Thursday with a lovely drive from Adelaide to Winton, it’s now in safe hands at RYCO HQ in Derrimut, Victoria for some onsite showing off!
To wrap up, Dontas mentioned, “we need to give the Ute some much-needed care, from there it’s hopefully a busy test schedule as we have found a solid direction with the Ute. The category is growing too, the fans loved them, I feel it’s the fact we have these big flame-throwing V8s in workhorse Utes”.
Gear up for Round 4 at Tailem Bend in South Australia on 30th – 31st July. Watch SuperUtes on track at the Bend here.
